KSG is a leading provider of restaurant and hospitality services to professional offices in Ireland – they serve 13 million meals per year and have 1,300 employees and they work with many of Ireland’s leading Blue Chip companies.
KSG and Microsoft Ireland were recently awarded the 2019 winner of the “best nutrition and healthy eating in the workplace” category at the IBEC Keep Well annual awards. The company also operates a City & Guilds accredited training academy in North Dublin and they partner with Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud and Domini Kemp on their training and development structures for their culinary teams.

SOMA takes its name and inspiration from the South of Market Area in San Francisco. The area is full of colour, excitement and continuous culinary regeneration. SOMA’s aim is to take the culinary creativity of San Francisco and harness it with the very best Irish produce.
Their SOMA menu includes delicious all-Irish premium burgers (recently voted in Dublin’s top 10 burgers) and fresh and delicious brunch dishes with a twist. The menu also includes contemporary kitchen classics, a range of salads and their signature special of Mexican fish tacos. They prepare food daily, using only the finest quality ingredients and cater for all tastes and dietary requirements.
SOMA @ Taste of Dublin will showcase delicious charcoal cooked Irish lamb and fantastic chicken tacos using Irish corn tacos from Tipperary.
KSG operates a restaurant pop-up roadshow across Ireland and one of their most successful formats has been “Dirty Broccoli” – the menu features plant based, classic taste dishes with a strong street influence creating bold and exciting flavours. Dirty Broccoli @ Taste of Dublin will feature a wonderful grilled cauliflower dish.
THE KSG TEAM AT TASTE
A key feature of their activity at Taste will be the charcoal grill where you will be able to find Failte Ireland Food Ambassador, John Relihan (KSG’s very own food nerd) cooking Irish lamb over the fire and serving it with a mix of carefully sourced produce. The grill area will be in safe hand’s as John forged his over-fire cooking skills as the Head Chef of Jamie Oliver’s Barbacoa and with the skilful and passionate Adam Perry Lang.
Alongside John at the grill you will find Executive chef Jack O’Keeffe who will be cooking a new Soma favourite of Asado Chicken Taco’s using amazing soft corn tacos from Tipperary producer Blanco Nino. Jack’s cooking is constantly evolving and, with his devotion to all things food, he will certainly add his trademark flare to the offering at this year’s festival.
Leading the team in the kitchen will be Development and Innovation Executive chef James Keogh who will be cooking a Dirty Broccoli signature of Grilled Spiced Cauliflower with an out of this world Smoked Garlic Aioli and Babaganoush.
KSG’s three chefs James, John and Jack know the Irish food scene inside and out and their dedication to seeking the very best produce from their suppliers, with whom KSG have built an enduring relationship over the years, is second to none.
