Any chef worth their Michelin star knows just how important a great producer is – particularly one who can provide them with responsibly sourced quality produce. This year, Taste of Dublin will be showcasing just how important your ingredients is from the top down. From chef’s demoing on the Taste Theatre stage using native ingredients to local artisan producers discussing food entrepreneurship in Ireland.
Taste of Dublin wants to encourage you to cherish the ingredient; the culture that nurtured it, the recipe that transformed it, the chef who toiled over it, the waiter who convinced you to take a chance on it.
Artisan producers who will feature include Olly Nolan of Olly’s Dublin Honey and Dayana Maltese of Sabanero Venezuelan cheese based in Galway. New for 2021, Taste of Dublin has partnered with CAIS, The Association of Irish Farmhouse Cheesemakers, to host a daily special cheese producer including Velvet Cloud from County Mayo and more.
These talks will be taking place on the Food for Thought with Regina XXL stage.
