Veginity is a plant based street food truck concept created by Australian Chef Mark Senn.
For a year and a half Veginity was housed within a funky industrial warehouse in the back streets of Portobello Dublin serving the very best of world inspired plant based street food.
The unusual setting and weekly menu change was an incubator of ideas and research, helping Mark to figure out what was missing in Dublin’s food scene.
Within half a year of opening, Veginity was awarded the ‘Best Street Food Award 2016’ at The Food Awards Ireland 2016.
It also received great reviews from various papers, Irish Times to name one.
Veginity is now set to open a brand new cafe / restaurant at 101 Upper Dorset St., Dublin 1.
Veginity’s owner and chef Mark Senn loves creating mouth watering vegetarian and vegan food. It became an obsession for Mark when he first turned vegetarian over 20 years ago and realised how limited the available food choices were when he was eating out.
This discovery has led him to experiment with many different techniques and ingredients in his quest to create the most extraordinary vegan and vegetarian food possible.
To gain a better and deeper understanding of his craft he has experimented with all types of vegan, vegetarian, raw and gluten free cooking over the years and brings all of this intimate knowledge to Veginity.
Mark has worked in the famous Mildred’s of Soho (London) and was Head Chef of Soul Mama (Melbourne) before moving to Dublin to set up Veginity and Vish.Shop
He is also the author of the self published cook book ‘Losing my Veginity’, runs his own vegan cooking channel on Youtube and has over 20 years experience as a vegetarian chef.
