The painter-decorator turned cheesecake connoisseur, Joe Moruzzi won over the UK Dragon’s Den judges in 2018 with his fresh approach to cheesecakes, inventive toppings and out-of-this-world flavour combinations. Since filming, Joe and business partner Brendon Parry have not looked back, securing their first book deal and funding for future development and expansion.
Since hanging-up his paint-splattered overalls in January 2017, Joe has sold over 20,000 cakes. He supplies Selfridges bakery with an exclusive range of mini-cakes and has had pop-ups at a range of events and festivals including Taste of London, Arcadia Group and New Look. Joe also has an ever-growing list of celebrity fans – turning the heads of Dame Kelly Holmes, Mark Cavendish, Joe Wicks, Emma Willis and even Her Majesty the Queen herself, delivering a one-off McVitie’s Pleesecake to Clarence House in time for the Queen’s birthday.
