Battered Prawns with Onion & Coriander
- Marinate the prawns with salt and turmeric. Set aside.
- Make a batter with the listed ingredients and deep fry the prawns in hot oil at 180c till golden. Serve immediately.
- 16 prawns, deveined
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- oil to deep fry
- 100g cornflour
- 100g refined flour
- 25 gms semolina
- 1/2 tsp onion seeds
- 30g red onion, chopped
- 30g coriander stems, chopped
- Beer (of your choice) to make the batter
