Dublin’s foodies were out in force over this weekend enjoying Taste of Dublin 2019 which ended Sunday 16th June. 2019 was a resounding success for the festival, with over 30,000 people attending over the four days, proving the appetite to enjoy quality food experiences in Dublin has not subsided.
Despite initial concerns about the weather, a few showers in between the sunshine did not deter Ireland’s foodies from descending on the beautiful Iveagh Gardens to enjoy the many celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, the eclectic restaurants, wonderful dining experiences and music Taste offered.
“This year’s festival has been brilliant fun. The straight-talking cooking demonstrations with Colin Fassnidge were so popular; he brought some Australian flair to the Neff Cooking Demo stage! Also, our chef line up was fantastic this year with our renowned chefs, Kevin Dundon, Rory O’Connell and Clodagh McKenna cooking up a storm alongside Ireland’s newest rising stars. There was something for every enthusiast to enjoy,” according to Avril Bannerton, Managing Director of Taste of Dublin.
The Taste festival proved to be popular with families celebrating Father’s Day, with Dad’s enjoying the KSG BBQ pit in particular!
