Tom Flavin hails from West Limerick and in June 2021 launched his own food and consultancy business.
Prior to that he was the Executive Chef in the Limerick Strand Hotel for over 16 years. During this time he had numerous appearances on TV, Radio and in hospitality publications and was appointed as a Fáilte Ireland Food Champion. Tom is a member of Eurotoques Ireland and is a renowned supporter of localyl sourced, in season produce.
Tom started his culinary career in Manila in 1991 and has enjoyed positions in Raffles Hotel in Singapore, The Dorchester in London and spent almost 2 years in Australia in a variety of 5* hotel kitchens and fine dining restaurants as well as overseeing banqueting kitchens.
