Philip Roe, from Dundrum in South Dublin, is the Head Chef of Glovers Alley by Andy McFadden. He began life as an architecture student, who then discovered his true calling whilst working with the hugely talented chef Kevin Thornton. From there, Philip went to the UK to learn from some of the best chefs in the business, including Clare Smyth, Simon Rogan, Sat Bains and, of course, Andy McFadden. Philip is fanatical about top quality meat and fish and is meticulous about the pure quality of the fruit and vegetables that come through the restaurant doors every morning.
