Dee Laffan

Dee Laffan is a freelance food and travel writer, currently writing for TheTaste and OpenTable and regularly contributes to national print media such as Irish Country Magazine and the Irish Daily Star. She has previously contributed to The Irish Times, The Sunday Times, Irish Independent, Food & Wine Magazine and Irish Farmers Journal and was editor of Easy Food and Yes Chef magazines. Her business also extends to online content consultancy and social media management for clients.

Her passion for Irish food has led her to many roles in the industry; she is a member of Irish Food Writers’ Guild, chair of Slow Food Dublin, organiser of Slow in the City food festival, curator of the Veuve Clicquot Sparkling Conversations Salon in the Food on Board area at Body&Soul Festival, and a judge of Blas na hÉireann, RAI Restaurant Awards and Food&Wine Magazine Restaurant Awards.
