Edamame is on a mission to provide affordable and reusable solutions to single-use waste. Our environmentally conscious products give our customer an opportunity to make wiser choices about the products they purchase for a more sustainable and socially conscious planet. The range includes stainless steel straws, biodegradable paper straws, stainless steel water bottles and lunch boxes, Edamame bamboo and glass reusable coffee cups, paper bags, cotton bags etc.
Edamame serves as a proud partner to companies such as Press Up Group, Apleona Group, Kerrygold, Genovese pesto, Armada Hotel, Expleo Group to name a few, as well as a number of smaller coffee shops and hotels around the country and in the UK.
We provide sustainability programmes, consulting and training as well as branded and co-brand sustainably sourced eco-conscious products for our partners and clients.
Edamame firmly believes in corporate social and environmental responsibility and giving back to our community through monetary contributions and volunteer service, we serve as a proud partner to charities CMRF Crumlin, Depaul, Pieta House and Seal Rescue Ireland.
With these charities, we have partnered on a product called Edamame - Coffee with a cause. It's a bamboo fibre coffee cup designed by local artists for different charities. Each of the cups are crafted from bamboo fibre, the world’s fastest-growing and most sustainable crop and feature a recyclable silicone lid and sleeve. They are BPA and phthalate-free without petrochemical plastic and are dishwasher safe. The idea is to include the local community and the charity in support of both environmental as well as social cause.
For example, Joe Caslin donated his very well-known print ‘Root before we rise’ for the Coffee with a cause bamboo cup for Pieta house. Gavin Leane donated his print ‘A good time for change’ to Depaul and a 7-year-old Una designed a print for CMRF Crumlin. 20% of proceeds are donated to the charity.
