Ballymaloe Foods was founded in 1990 by Yasmin Hyde. Yasmin started the business with one product, Ballymaloe Original Relish and the Ballymaloe Foods product range has grown from one product to 18. Our range includes a number of Great Taste winning products; Original Relish, Irish Mayonnaise & Pickled Irish Beetroot. We also have an extended range of relishes, pasta sauces, meat and roasting sauces as well as salad dressings. Times may have changed but our approach never has, all our products are slow cooked in small batches for maximum flavour. We use only 100% natural ingredients and have no additives or preservatives.
Ballymaloe Foods is still very much a family run business, 3 of Yasmin’s four children work in the businesses along with 38 other employees. We are based in Little Island Co. Cork, and all the products we sell are made in our production facility in Cork. Our products are available in all major retailers nationwide as well as independent stores and butchers.
